Adela Salgado

Adela Salgado, 97, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 6, 2014. She was born July 26, 1916, in El Paso, Texas, and was a 25-year resident of Las Vegas. She was loved by the staff at Wentworth Las Vegas for her sassiness. Adela is survived by her grandchildren, Ben and Martin Navarro and Hilda Carson; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Andrea, Ariel and Eliot Navarro; granddaughters-in-law, Laurie and Paula Navarro; and grandson-in-law,, Shaun Carson. She has left us with so many wonderful memories, her beautiful smile and her giving heart. "You will always be in our hearts. We love you 'Weeta' and you will never be forgotten." Services will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N
