Alyce Kinuyo Horito peacefully passed away Tuesday, February 20,2007 of natural causes.
She was born on February 14, 1929 in Honolulu.
She had been a resident of Las Vegas for 40 years, a retired employee of the Clark County School District.
In 1929, she moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles where she met and married George Toru Horito on April 29,1941. In 1942, she and her husband and their first son were evacuated to an internment camp located in Heart Mountain, Wyoming and later moved east to Cincinnati in 1945, they moved back to Los Angeles before finally settling in Las Vegas in 1967.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hortio; her brother, Albert Ito; and one grandchild, Kenneth Horito.
She is survived by her three sons, Gene Horito of Ventura, California, Gerald Horito of Monroe, Utah and Gilbert Horito of Las Vegas; along with nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to follow
both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
located on the corner of Cimarron and El Campo Grande.
She will be buried alongside her beloved husband, George Horito at
Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery
7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
The burial will take place immediately following the funeral service.
