Arletta Ragland

Arletta Ragland, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 14, 2014. Arletta was born in Kansas and moved to Arkansas with her family when she was two, where she lived until 1968 before moving to Nevada. She worked as a cocktail waitress at the old Sahara Hotel, July 1968-July 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ruby Rominger; sisters, Eileen Logue, Detta Mae Slinkard and Shirley Henbest of Lincoln; and her companion, of 28 years, John Masteller of Las Vegas. She is survived by her two sons, Allan and Steve Ragland of Las Vegas; sister, Betty Ray of Lowell, Ark.; two nephews, Glenn Fields of Lincoln, Ark. and Gary Slinkard of Rogers, Ark; and four nieces of Lowell. Due to her wishes, there will be no services. She wanted to be remembered as she lived.
