Armando O. Meza, 83, a retired musician, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 29, 2011. He was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Mexico, and was a 51-year resident of Nevada. Armando was a lifetime member of the Musician's Union of Las Vegas Local # 369 - American Federation of Musicians. Armando was preceded in death by his wife, of 54 years, Eloisa J. Meza. Armando is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Meza; sons, Armando Meza Jr., Javier Meza and Gene Martinez; daughters-in-law; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
