Agustin Barron, 87, of Las Vegas, a retired member of Culinary Local 226, passed away Oct. 28, 2011. He was born May 28, 1924, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a 51-year resident of Nevada. Agustin first emigrated to the U.S. as a Bracero in the 1940's and became a naturalized U.S. citizen. He and his family made Las Vegas their home since the 1960's. Agustin was a loving, gentle, dedicated and humble man, husband and father who will be dearly missed. Agustin was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel in 1989. Agustin is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Socorro and Jesus Molina; sons, Roberto, Lazaro, Eloy and Carlos; stepdaughter, Maria Hassan; grandkids; and great-grandkids. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at St. Christopher's Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery.
