Barbara E. Peacock, born November 17, 1946, passed away on July 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by kindness, adventure, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Barbara was known among her family and friends for her caring and loving nature. Her compassion touched the lives of everyone she met, and she had a rare ability to make all feel welcome and cherished. Barbara's deep love for cats and her endless enthusiasm for crafting revealed her creative spirit and gentle warmth. She had a zest for exploring new places, embracing each journey—whether it was near or far—with curiosity and joy.

One of Barbara’s greatest passions was riding motorcycle trikes. Her involvement as a member of the world-wide organization known as BTW, a trike group, connected her with fellow enthusiasts and brought her years of thrilling adventures on the open road. She was also proud to serve as a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, contributing her time and heart to causes that mattered deeply to her and supporting her community in meaningful ways.

Barbara is survived by Thomas Budnick; her sisters, Bonnie Gordon and Kathleen Penny; and her brother, Doug Penny. Each of them carries fond memories of her warmth, humor, and genuine care. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Willard Penny and Elizabeth Pearson.
