Belinda Ann Alexander (nee Collins) was born on July 26th, 1958 to Henry J. Collins and Carol Bradley in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was called home to eternal peace and serenity on August 14, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. The eldest daughter in a family of 13, Belinda learned to care for others early in life and maintained that caring nature. After completing her compulsory education in North Carolina, she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she was granted the opportunity to travel the world. During her service she met Gary Alexander, the two were joined in holy matrimony on January 29th, 1987 in Sumter, South Carolina. Their joyful union produced one son and one daughter. In 1993, she and her family moved to Las Vegas, NV where she began working at the TJ Maxx Distribution Center. Over her 25-year career, she worked her way up from an associate to supervisor. She became an authority on all areas of the company and acted as mentor to dozens. She was a bright and caring spirit; willing to help anyone and expected nothing in return. Affectionately know as “Miss B”, she spread love to everyone who worked with her, and was deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. One brother, Larry T. Collins, and her parents preceded her in death. Her loving memory will be cherished by: her adoring husband, Gary Alexander; her daughter, Amber Alexander; her son, Anthony Alexander; her stepson, Gary Alexander Jr.; her two grandchildren Sophia Rose Alexander and Taylor Renee Alexander; 3 sisters, Tawanna C. Johnson, Donna Collins Guthrie, Lillie P. Dawkins; and six brothers, William J. Bradley, Edward Bradley, Henry L. Collins, Harry J. Collins, Joseph A. Collins, and Apostle Glen Collins. Outside of her family, she will be deeply missed by her work family at TJ Maxx.
