Bernice G. Cortez

BERNICE GUERRA CORTEZ, 76, of Las Vegas, formerly of Gardner, Colo., left to be with the Lord July 29, 2011. Bernice was preceded in death by her son, Gary; daughter, Naomi; her parents; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Louis; her children, Debbie (Dave), Ron (Vicky), Louella (Jim), Jamie (Becky), Mark, and Stephanie (Michele); 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends. She enjoyed going home to Colorado, and spending time with family. A viewing/rosary will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Bunkers Mortuary. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will be at Eden Vale Cemetery following mass.
