Bessie "Pat" Freeman
Born in Kuna, Idaho on 11-01-1926
Died August 12, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada
Lived in Las Vegas since 1963, and was currently residing with her daughter, Christina, in Henderson, Nevada, for the last six years.
She was married to Douglas "Jack" Freeman, who passed away in 1997. They were married for 45 years, at the time of his death. She is being laid to rest next to him, here in Central, which was one of their favorite places, and where they had a cabin for many years.
Pat retired from the Clark County School District, where she was a food preparer. Pat was most well known for her great cooking, but especially so for her Cinnamon Rolls.
Anyone who knew Pat was especially touched by her sweet smile. Even through difficult times and pain, she would still give people that sweet smile.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca and Pearl, sister, Ethel, and two brothers, Jack and George.
Pat is survived by a sister, Della; son, Dale; daughter, Christina; four grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Kimberly and Darrell; two great-granddaughters, Destiny and Brittany and four step-children; Douglas, Brenda, Liana, and Roxanne.
Pat loved all her family very much, but she also had another favorite love; her little dog Molly. Molly was always at her side, and she even got to spend a day with Pat in Nathan Adelson Hospice before she passed, which made Pat extremely happy.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Bessie “Pat” Freeman’s name to Nathan Adelson Hospice on Swenson Avenue.
Viewing is Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm. Burial will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Central Cemetery, Central, Utah at 2pm.
