Brian J. Polovina

Brian J. Polovina, 72, of Blue Diamond, a retired casino supervisor, passed away on his birthday, Nov. 27, 2016. Born in Steubenville, Ohio, he called southern Nevada home for more than 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duke and Ann; brother, Michael; aunt, Yolanda West; and uncle, Ben D'Alessio. He is survived by his daughter, Gina (Ira Sternberg); and many friends. Brian enjoyed hiking, skiing, riding motorcycles and discussing historic and current events. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to a favorite charity.
