Carolyn Gene Carter, 69 of Las Vegas, NV passed away Aug. 4, 2016 after battling a hard journey of lung cancer and pneumonia. She was born May 11, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona. Moving to San Diego, Cal. she attended and graduated High School. Then moving to Las Vegas, Carol began tending bar and waitressing. She then began working in Day Care Centers with infants and toddlers. She Believed child care was the most rewarding and enjoyable experience that she made it her life career. Carol was dedicated, hardworking, and loyal and just loved the babies she taught. The patience and care and love she gave could be seen by all.
Carol is preceded in death by her 2 Brothers Dusty and David Woolverton, her Sister Deborah Gold and her beloved Father Claud "Eddie" Woolverton, whom she loved and dearly missed from the day of their passing. She is survived by her Mother Nada Woolverton, her Son Michael Poser, Daughter Angela Slusher, Son-in-law Michael Slusher, Grandchildren Alex, Christopher, and Micalah Slusher, Great Grand babies Avery Batten and Aurora Rose Chaney. Carol dearly loved her mother, her son and daughter, son-in-law and grand kids and grand babies with all her heart and soul. She was a truly remarkable, strong and courageous woman. Carol is dearly loved and will be terribly missed by everyone left behind. She touched every part of our lives and are blessed to love and be loved by her.
