Cecil G. Shinn

Cecil G. Shinn,78, beloved husband,father,grandfater and brother passed away in Las Vegas. He was born in Shreveport, LA. Following his service in the U.S. Navy, he married his sweetheart, Lorraine Navarre, May 1, 1946. They later moved their family to Las Vegas in 1963, where he was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union. He enjoyed handball, geneaology work and spending time with his family.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine Navarre Shinn; his children, Suzan (John) Langley, Kerri(Marshall) Kassoff, Jon(Cindy)Shinn; and siblings, Frank(Barbara)Shinn and Patricia(Cyrus) Morrison.
He has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be at noon on Friday, March 31,2006 with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m.
Both will be held at Bunkers Mortuary Chapel
925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
