It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Charles L. Clark, Jr., who departed this life on January 12, 2026, at the age of 78.
Charles was born in Somerville, New Jersey, to Charles L. Clark, Sr. and Addeline Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Clark, Sr. and son Charles Clark III. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, he leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Christine; mother, Addeline; son, Kevin; daughter, Kimberly; step-daughters, Angelica and Aleigha; sisters, Janelle and Adrienne; brother, Jamal; and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of dedicated and honorable service. His military career reflected his strong sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to excellence — qualities that he instilled in his children and carried through every aspect of his life.
Known affectionately as “Chuck” or “Charlie Boy,” Charles believed deeply in living life to the fullest and never allowing adversity to dim his spirit. He was charismatic by nature, with a contagious laugh that drew people in and made them feel instantly at ease. Whether through conversation, humor, or simply his presence, Charles had a gift for connecting with others. Rarely seen without his signature Chuck Taylors, he carried his style and personality with confidence and joy.
Though Charles has departed this world, his laughter, strength, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy is one of service, resilience, and a life well lived.
