Charlotte Myrtle Ward

Charlotte M. Taylor Ward, 84 years old passed away August 19, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. Charlotte was born on September 13, 1936 to Milton and Clara Taylor in Idaho where she lived until she was a young teen. Charlotte was the youngest of six children; she had four sisters, Veta Moss, Margaret Mabey, Ona Shippen & Louise Garner and one brother, Floyd Taylor, all of who have preceded her in death. Her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where Charlotte met Charles Ward in 1954. Charlotte & Charles were married for 37 years until he passed away in 1991. They raised three daughters, Cheryl Ward, Carolyn Smith (Walter) & Cara Wilson (Tim). Charlotte left school as a young teenager to work but she returned to complete her GED later in life. She worked at Jack Wall Insurance, and ended her working years at Excalibur Hotel. She enjoyed playing bingo with her girlfriends, baking delicious goodies, fixing the perfect silver dollar pancakes that the grandchildren could not get enough of and precious time with family, friends and her pup friend Twinkle.

Charlotte is survived by her three daughters, six Grandchildren; and nine Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30pm 09.10.2021 at Desert Springs Methodist Church 120 North Pavillion Center Drive Las Vegas Nevada 89144
