Cheryl Ann Hendry

Cheryl Ann Hendry was born November 5, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Dorothy and Warren Blomgren.

She received her formal education in Clark County School District and graduated in 1964 from Rancho High School.

Cheryl met the love of her life, Samuel Hendry, and married him on September 19, 1964. The two were blessed to parent five wonderful children. Cheryl was a devoted and amazing wife, mom, mother in law, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother cousin, and friend. She was a compassionate and loving person and would do absolutely anything for everyone. She will be missed.

On Friday, April 21, 2023, Cheryl passed to eternal life peacefully from the comfort of her Las Vegas home and her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her Sam, parents; Siblings, Donna Henshaw, Darlene Sims, Leonard Blomgren, and Warren Blomgren; Grandparents, Veronica and Nicholas Lesmeister.

Cheryl leaves precious memories with her children: Shawn Hendry (Scott Troyer), Christina(Robert) Keeran, Sheila Hendry(Duane Oliverius), Veronica(Jack) Gouveia, Sam(Vicki) Hendry; Sister, Veronica Wilson and Best Friend Linda Ross; Grandchildren, Brandon Hendry, Tyler Hendry, Wraylynn Hendry, George Dragoo, Michael Dragoo, Kristine Keeran, Jennifer Keeran, Anthony Castellano, Christopher Castellano, Trent Gouveia, Jammie Acevedo, Austin Hendry, Adam Hendry, and Abreann Hendry; Great Grandchildren, Alexis Hendry, Mckenzie Hendry, Juliet Hendry, Lucille Hendry-Bowles, AJ Bowles, Carson Whinery, Ross Dragoo, Jothathan Castellano, Hiram Madrigal, Naomi Madrigal, Samantha Acevedo, Savannah Acevedo, Scarlett Gouveia and a host of friends and family.

Cheryl comes from a huge loving family and she was blessed and loved by many.

Services for Cheryl will be held Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 at 9:20am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
