She was born January 31, 1935 to Lee Roy and Nellie Gilliam in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She graduated at North Little Rock Senior High. Donald and Christal were married on January 1, 1956. Together they raised two sons. She was widowed in October 17, 2012. Christal was a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and loving friend to all. She left this world of sorrow, and is free
