Christopher Edward Wood passed away May 22, 2012, in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1956, in East Liverpool, Ohio. A 1974 graduate of Anderson High School in Cincinnati, he attended Ohio University and the University of Cincinnati before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1977. His work as an avionics tech took him to many remote and classified locations and the highlight of his career was having been on the original ground crew for the F-117 Stealth Fighters while stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. After leaving the service, he worked as a radar technician for EG&G. Beginning in 1992, he worked in the gaming industry, first as a keno/slot tech for EDT and Imagineering and finally as a slot tech at the Rampart Casino. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Edward Wood and Timothy Michael Wood, and their mother, Eileen (Fagan) Wood, all of Las Vegas; and his parents, Edward Dale and Joyce JoAnn (Walker) Wood of Hilton Head Island, S.C. Funeral services are pending at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City
