Clara Mae Shaver

Clara Mae Shaver passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at age 86, in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1926, in Las Vegas, to Frank Clark Black and Lucille McDonald Ricker. She was the eldest of six sisters. She met her first husband, Lloyd Bucher, who was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, and then moved to his hometown of Rochelle, Ill. She lived there for 15 years and had four children. She moved back to Las Vegas in 1964. She married Clyde Shaver March 17, 1972. He passed in December 2005, after 33 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joel William Bucher; and daughter, Sue Ann Pauley. She leaves behind a son, Jim Bucher and daughter-in-law, Kay Bucher of Las Vegas; daughter, Linda Bohman and son-in-law, Joe Bohman of Fernley; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8, with funeral services to follow, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Graveside services will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
