Claude Laury

October 15, 1933 — August 30, 2021

The very best thing about Claude was how friendly he was. Always ready with a compliment. He loved to entertain. I can remember many parties he hosted at out home at Bedford court town gardens. Claude was a hard worker. As a CPA ,he worked for the John W. Cowper construction company as there lead account. He loved his job at People's incorporate. He finished off his career working for good friend and lodge brother Hilliard Sherman. As a child Claude loved listening to his sister Joyce play the piano. His best friend for life was Landon Wickham, and was as much apart of the Wickham family as any other family member. I can recall him talking about all his cousin growing up like brothers. claude was also a lover of great music, with an extensive record collection there was always music playing. Claude served in the military as a Marine. Claude is survived by his daughter Catherine Joyce Laury Daniels and son Aaron Maurice Laury Sr (Angela Garrett Laury). His grandchildren Lamar S. Daniels, Aaron Laury Jr and Ava Laury. He was blessed with bonus grandchildren Micheal Daniels, Larenzo Daniels,Lauren Giwa, Jonathan Daniels, Latasha Clark, Alvester Daniels and Lawrence Daniels Jr. Also bonus great-grandchildren with whom he had fond memories of, Daz-mon Clark and Twanyah Allen.

He loved having a football playing son. Aaron gave him much joy as he watched Aaron play little league football at Shoshone park in buffalo. Our father played football thru out his life. Claude was loved by many from St. Paul's cathedral to his niece Pamela Skinner and nephew Greg Skinner. Also his Goddaughter Danielle German Hawkins. There are so many who saw him as a father figure. we love you and miss you! REST WELL DADDY!
