Claudia Ann Church (nee Saldina), 71, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Desert Springs Hospital, after some complications from a stroke. God has taken her home to be at peace. Claudia was born July 12, 1944, in Los Angeles, the eldest of two daughters to the late Louis Garcia Saldina and Dorothy M. Moll (nee Barnhart). She moved to Las Vegas when she was three years old, living here ever since. Claudia graduated from Bishop Gorman Catholic High School in 1962. She later met her husband, Glen, was married Dec. 4, 1965, and remained married for over 50 years. She worked for Glen's veterinarian practice as an office manager for over 25 years. She was a member of the AQHA and NCHA for most of her life. She was an avid horseman with participating in numerus shows and trained and bred quarter horses. Claudia loved her family and friends so much and also her horses and dogs. Claudia is survived by her husband, Dr. Glen E. Church Sr.; sister, Dorothy Lopreore; two sons, Glen E. Church Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Las Vegas, and Austin B. Church and wife, Jeannie, of Louisiana; three daughters, Gabrielle A. (nee Church) Ferrales and her husband, Christopher, of Minnesota, and Sue and Anne Church of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Glen E. Church IIII and Nathaniel Church of Las Vegas, Jenna and Marina Church of Louisiana, and Savino and Julian Ferrales of Minnesota; stepfather, Richard Moll of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas
