Clay is survived by his wife of39 years, Charlotte;one son,Jamal Coleman of Henderson; four daughters, Autopia Barnes,Ahiah Barnes, Arcacia Barnes and Ashya Taylor, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Momie Barnes, two brothers, Joe Riley Barnes and Felix Barnes and one sister, Peggy Richmond, all of San Diego.

Clay was bron in Bakersfield, California. A reside of Las Vegas for 31 years, he was a maintenance technician for the Las Vegas Valley Water District.
