Collean (nee Steiner) Fullmer, age 73, of Las Vegas, a former clerk in the flight office of United Airline (SFOFO), a manager for Gingiss Formalware in Newark, Calif., and San Jose, Calif. stores, passed away Nov. 16, 2016, at home. She was born in Burley, Idaho, July 14, 1943. She graduated from Burley High School in 1962. Upon graduating she made a trip to Honolulu, where she met her future husband, Robert. They were married Dec. 1, 1962, and would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this year. Collean was an active member of the LDS Church, and loved the Relief Society and her many sisters there. She was a very talented quilter specializing in "Hawaiian Quilts." She was active with the local Centennial Hills quilt group and the Las Vegas Quilters Guild. She was also an active member of the Las Vegas Hot Diggty Dachshund Club and Rescue (LVHDDCR). She made many quilts and other items for their fund raiser events. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma; father, Grandin; stepmother, Ruth; brother, Lavon; and sisters, Donna, Ila and Karin. She is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Robert (Cathy) and John (Cindy); granddaughters, Morgan, Niki, and Madison; sisters, Luella, Viola, Jannet, Lis, Merete and Loretta; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at LDS Tule Springs Ward, 7500 W. Tule Springs Road. Viewing will be at 9 a.m., prior to services. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
