CYRIL ALMEIDA Cyril Joseph Almeida, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 28, 2014. Born Nov. 29, 1942, in Mumbai, India, he came to the United States in 1978. He worked as a painter, taxi driver, casino sign maker and a blackjack dealer. He will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, ever present smile and positive attitude. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Andrew, in 1959, to whom he was very attached. Cyril is survived by his wife, Rita; his daughter, Victorina; his sons, Fraser and Alan; brothers, Hubert and Adolf; sister, Rose D'Mello; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be 8-11 a.m. Friday, March 7, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Mass will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Francis De Sales, 1111 N. Michael Way.
