Daveen K. Montes

Daveen Bell Montes, 79, Beloved Care Bear Gramma passed away peacefully at home on 12/21/21 from cancer. Born in Las Vegas, Daveen attended Bishop Gorman and graduated from Las Vegas High School. Daveen worked at Gemco and Lucky before retiring to care for her grandchildren and many others who affectionately called her Gramma. She loved and adored them as if they were her own. She had many extended families through the children she cared for. She married Gerald Martin in 1960 and is survived by their children Erik Martin, David (Tammy) Martin, Crystal Martin, and Dean (Dena) Martin. She married Tom Montes in 1967 and is survived by their daughter Renee Montes. Daveen cherished each and every one of her 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, they were her life to the end. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and extended family. She will forever live in our hearts.
A viewing will be held at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 N Las Vegas Blvd., at 8:30 am on January 5, 2022, with Funeral Services at 9:30 am and burial to follow at 11:00 am at Bunkers Memory Gardens. No flowers are requested.
