David Anthony Sotelo

David Sotelo was born on June 19th, 1986 in Guymon, Oklahoma.

He was raised by his mother, Carolyn Sotelo, alongside his older

brother Abel and his younger brother Scott (formerly Seth.)

David enjoyed riding bikes, drinking with friends, and cutting

his brother's hair. A humble man and a respected father:

David only ever asked that he be remembered - not celebrated.

His deepest wish was that people would think of him and wonder

'Where'd that kid go? Ya know, the one that lived on Taylor Street?'

He'd work long days to support his family.

His friends never had an unkind word to say about him;

and on July 5th, 2023 he died. There's never any right words to say,

but if you knew him, you'd know that's how he'd put it into words.

He will be missed.

Toward the end of his life -

he was in and out of hospital. Keeping what privacy he had.

Asking if there was anything more to life; he'd still somehow

found a way to be the best one living it. Enjoying every moment.

His mother used to say he was her favorite son: the cute one

with the big brown eyes. No longer suffering - he's home now.
