David Allen Cook, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, March 23, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born in Mt. Emmons, Utah, to Levi Allen Cook and Alta Boswell Cook. In his early years, David cherished life on the farm, where he loved driving the tractor and caring for his horse. His family later moved to Las Vegas, where he attended Rancho High School and was a proud member of its first full four-year graduating class.
David built a hardworking and dedicated career as a professional tour bus driver and fuel delivery driver. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon, and his sister, Lois.
David is survived by his three sisters, Eileen, Shirleen, and Kathleen; his two children, Susan (Mo) Denis and Da Rell (Ruthellen) Cook; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the LDS Chapel located at 4201 Stewart Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada. Burial will follow at Bunker’s Eden Vale Memorial Park.
