Diane M. Difore

Diane M. Di Fiore, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 11, 2012. She was retired from The Palms Hotel & Casino, where she worked as a slot floor person. Diane was born Dec. 26, 1944 in New York, N.Y. Diane graduated from Dominican College of Blauvelt (N.Y.) and taught high school English. She married Robert Leggio and has four children, whom she always said was the greatest accomplishment of her life. She is survived by her mother, Ursula Di Fiore; children, Robert Leggio (Chieu), Diane M. Leggio II, Joseph M. Leggio and John P. (Jay) Leggio; siblings, Rosanne Savarro (DJ), Alexandra Wolak, Jeanne Cosgrove, and John A. Di Fiore II; four grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews. Celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Nevada Cancer Center or Ovarian Cancer National Alliance .
