Diane Pappas-Frank, 66, of Henderson, passed away peacefully after a courageous three year battle with illness Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Kindred/St. Rose Dominican Hospital with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Baltimore, Md., Jan. 19, 1946. She was a resident of Las Vegas for 38 years and spent most of her years here in the advertising industry. She will always be remembered for her honest opinions often shared with her own unique sense of humor. She always lived life on her own terms and had a contagious laugh and smile. She had a love of water color painting and was an accomplished artist. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Kirchner Sr.; and sister, Anita Kennison. She is survived by her mother, Catherine Kirchner of Ocean Pines, Md.; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Darren Heiner; grandchildren, Brady and Noah; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Allen Kirchner of Aiken, S.C.; husband, Kenneth Frank; many other family and friends; and her beloved dog, Phoebe. Services will be held privately in Ocean City. A celebration of Diane's life will be held locally at a future determined date and location. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in her name.
