Diane E. Panchisin, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 1, 2012, after a battle with cancer. Diane, a loving wife, mother and sister, was born in Gary, Ind., July 26, 1931 to Thomas and Frances Fadlevic. Diane is survived by her husband, of 60 years, John Panchisin Sr.; her two loving sons, John Jr. and David of Chicago; daughter, Lynn; sister, Marianne Gora of cannon City, Colo.; and brother, Thomas Fadlevic Jr. of Wolcott, Ind. Diane and her husband were long-time residents of Munster, Ind. and members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved her family dearly. She also worked for many years at the family business, Pla-Time, Inc., of Hammond, Ind., a bicycle and sporting goods store, before retiring and moving to Las Vegas with her husband in 2002. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., followed by burial services, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
