Donald L. Hanlon, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 28, 2012. He was born June 7, 1940, to Hilda and Don Hanlon, in Salt Lake City, and was a 60-year resident of Las Vegas. He was an operating engineer at the Nevada Test Site for over 10 years and then worked at YESCO until retiring. He also served as scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 133. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary. Don is survived by his sisters, Sr. Rosaleen, Pat and Chris; children, Scott, Troy and Wendy; grandchildren, Whitney, Ethan, Aiden and Miranda; and many special friends. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Burial and dedication following at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
