Donald E. Wert

Donald Ellsworth Wert, 81, went home to the Creator Dec. 16, 2011, with his soulmate, "Tiger" at his bedside. He was born in Sturgis, Mich., Nov. 5, 1930. Don was a 29-year friend of Bill W., the oldest hearing aid specialist in Nevada, and a veteran of the Korean War and an avid square dancer. He is survived by his "Tiger;" sons, Edward (Nikki) and Don (Sharena); grandson, Damian; daughter, Patty (Steve) Chesin; and granddaughters, Darion, Rachael, Nicolle and Michaela. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the T.I.E. Club, 329 N. 11th St.,
