Dorothy "Dottie" Donnally Kiley, of Las Vegas, slipped into eternal peace June 19, 2014 and has now joined her husband, Marty, and her son, Michael, in Heaven. Her life was rich with family and friends. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and an avid Redskins fan. She worked until the day she went in the hospital, starting with her career in the U.S. Marines Corps, retiring from Civil Service, and working for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department K-9 Unit. Those who know her know she was the consummate "Southern Belle" and her heart belonged to her family, friends, and the Washington Redskins. She is survived by her daughters, Faith Christie and family of Virginia, and Lisa Ashley and family of Michigan; son, Joe Kiley and family of Texas; and long-time companion, Jerry Meloy of North Las Vegas. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mom's beloved K-9 Unit at lvmpdk9.com
