Dr.Lillian Barlaan Mendoza, 60 an educator for over 40 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21,2007.
She was born on August 19,1946 in Tacloban City, Philippines.
Her notable accomplishments included; Teacher of the Year, Who's Who and the former and first female president of the Diablo Valley Filipino American League. Lillian was active within the St. Thomas More Catholic Community.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melchor Cruz Mendoza; and brother, Porfirio M. Barlaan,Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Maia Susan Mendoza; and siblings, Teresita Barlaan Fuentes, Maria Evelyn Barlaan Cayetano, Jose Antonio Barlaan and Rolando M. Barlaan.
