Earl E. Gillian

Earl E. Gillian, 89, passed away Feb, 10, 2013. He was raised in Sandstone, W.Va. He resided for many years in southern California, and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1976. Earl served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as a supervisor of a mining operation prior to retiring. He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Eugenia; son, John Bradford Gillian; daughter, Melody Gillian Hughes; brother, Tom C. Gillian; and many nieces and nephews. He will be immeasurably missed. There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Grace Baptist Church, 6450 E. Stewart St. Burial following, at 2 p.m., at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association .
