Edna Mae "Tess" Budde

Edna Mae "Tess" Budde, 88, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. Tess was a homemaker and a 55-year resident of North Las Vegas. She was born May 18, 1923 in Dubuque, Iowa. Tess graduated from Anamosa High School in Anamosa, Iowa. After high school, she attended and graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Davenport, Iowa. Tess worked as a registered nurse for 10 years before starting her family. Tess will always be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Tess was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and grandson, Christopher. She is survived by her brother, Jerry of Florida; daughter, Jan of Wallace, N.C.; son, Michael of Las Vegas; daughter, Jill of North Las Vegas; son, Jack of North Las Vegas; granddaughter, Jennifer of Peoria, Ariz.; grandson, Charles of Canton, Ohio; grandson, Paul of Castle Hayne, N.C.; granddaughter, Jacque of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Carolena of North Las Vegas; granddaughter, Vanessa of North Las Vegas; and by five great-grandchildren, Sullivan, Addison, Christopher Jay, Rowan, and Dominic. Visitation will be 6-6:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27, at Bunkers Mortuary Chapel, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., followed by eulogies and a Rosary. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce Street, North Las Vegas. Graveside services will follow at Eden Vale Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
