Edward William Bennett

Ed Bennett, age 89, died April 20, 2022. Raised in Redondo Beach, CA, he served in the Korean War and became a resident of Las Vegas in 1969.  Ed retired from Centel Telephone Company and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Rose Marie Bennett to whom he was married for 31 years.  He is survived by his second wife of 31 years Louise McClary Bennett, sons Karl and Sam, daughter Edee, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Ed was a Bonus Dad and Grandpa to Louise’s 5 children, 15 grandkids, and numerous great grandkids.  Services will be held Thur, April 28, 2022 at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary at 925 Las Vegas Blvd North.  Visitation at 10am and service at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Nevada Youth Soccer (www.nevadayouthsoccer.org) or to a charity meaningful to you.
