EDWARD MARTIN We celebrate the life of Edward "Eddie" Martin, who, at the age of 64, passed away Sept. 21, 2011, after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was a local Las Vegas artist who was involved with the Opportunity Village Arts and Enrichment Program. His art and talent has been featured in local television commercials and has been displayed at various community and charitable events. He was originally from Buffalo, N.Y., and has been a Las Vegas resident for 15 years. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and David Armstrong, Eleanor and Freeman Bridges, and Virginia McCarthy; and brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Alison Martin. He was preceded by his brother, Vincent Martin; and parents, Virginia and Edward Martin. He was an uncle to nine; a great-uncle; and great-great-uncle. He was also loved by many cousins and extended family. He has touched the lives of numerous friends and family through his love, humor and kindness.
