Eli Jack Blanchard, 59, of Las Vegas, passed away May 20, 2012. He was born April 19, 1953, in Las Vegas, and was a lifetime resident of Nevada. Eli worked in the construction industry as a brick layer and stone mason for over 40 years and was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Blanchard Balhan; grandchildren, Katy and Cole of Minooka, Ill.; his sisters, Arta Rae Lee of Wasilla, Alaska, and Barbara Sheldon of Las Vegas; and brother, Jim Blanchard of Las Vegas. Services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
