Elizabeth Harris

Elizabeth Turner-Harris was born to the late Willie and Nellie Turner, March 6, 1918 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. She was one of four children and a twin!

Elizabeth received her education in Lake Providence, Louisiana. She moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1961. Here she reconnected with a long-time friend and ultimately married that friend…Flenorte Harris.

Elizabeth worked as a hotel Inspector which she enjoyed until retirement. She spent her remaining years cherishing her family.

On Saturday, July 22, 2023 and at the golden age of 105 years, Elizabeth was called home. Her daughter Earleane and granddaughter Stacy was by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband Flenorte Harris, sons Benjamin Turner and Phillip Felix and oldest daughter Nancy Campbell. Elizabeth’s memories will live on with sons Leon Felix Jr. II, Mujahid Ramadan, one daughter Earleane Edwards (all of Las Vegas, NV,) grandchildren, great grandchildren,  great, great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held August 5th, 2023 at Bunker Funeral Home in Las Vegas, NV
