Ellen Cecilia Hinricksen

In loving memory of Ellen Cecilia Weber Hinricksen, who is reunited with the love of her life, Leland Hinricksen.

Ellen peacefully passed away on February 12, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Ellen could light up a room upon entry and make everyone feel not only heard, but also loved. She always made time for her friends and family. Her kindness will never be forgotten.

Ellen was born June 13, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she created and nurtured her family. Ellen later moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2012.

Ellen worked as a PBX operator at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas and was a member of the Association of Realtors. Ellen was also a member of, and volunteered with Soroptimist International in the Las Vegas chapter. She was a previous member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Upon her move to Colorado Springs, Ellen joined Assistance League and volunteered at the Bargain Box.

Ellen was a dedicated, generous, and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Ellen is survived by her son, Kevin, daughter, Staci (Jeff), granddaughters, Shelby, Emma, and Sarah Ellen, brother, Fred, brother in law, LaMoyne, sister in laws, Mackie, Dorene and Suzie, nephews, Theron, Rafe, Chance, Cullen, Colton, Brody, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

To know her, was to love her.
