Eric Paul Coverdell, 23, an overnight stocker at WalMart Store No. 1559, of Las Vegas, passed away May 20, 2012. He was born Jan. 29, 1989, in Las Vegas, and was a lifetime resident of Nevada. Eric graduated from Desert Pines High School, where he gained his love for music. He loved his family, friends and music, and once said he had plenty of all three and had no complaints in life. He enjoyed playing the drums, guitar and spending time with family and friends. He was a terrific son, brother, uncle, grandson. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed their company. He was caring, loyal and had a wicked sense of humor. His hopes and dreams were cut short in life but will live on in our hearts. He will be greatly missed. Eric was preceded in death by his grandpas, Don and Bill; and dear friend, Chris R. Eric is survived by his parents, Robert and Jane Coverdell; sisters, Dawn and Breianna; and brother, Aaron. Services will be at 3 p.m. May 31, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
