Estelina Navarro, 87, passed away on April 21, 2026. She was born in 1939 in Estelí, Nicaragua, and her journey carried her far — across countries, across communities, and into the hearts of everyone who knew her. In 1965, she moved to the United States, proudly became a citizen, and made Las Vegas, Nevada her home for the majority of her life.
Estelina was an electrician by trade, a testament to her determination, skill, and independence. But her true spark came from music. She played the guitar, harmonica, and accordion, and she filled every room with singing, rhythm, and joy. Mariachi music was her heartbeat, and she shared that love freely with family, friends, and anyone lucky enough to be near her.
She was a devoted mother — steady, protective, and endlessly giving — yet she was also the life of the party. Estelina had a rare gift for making people feel welcome. No one was ever turned away, and no one ever left her presence without feeling lighter.
She is survived by her four children: Lety, Hector, Danny, and Louis; her grandchildren: Victor, Jose, Marissa, Britny, Andrew, and Steven; and many extended family members who cherished her deeply.
