Eugene Robert "Bob" Wilkinson, age 82, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 26, 2026. A man of unwavering devotion, Bob’s life was defined by the deep roots he planted and the quiet strength he provided to those he loved.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bob moved west with his parents as a young man. Following his honorable service in the Vietnam War, he met the love of his life, Deborah Heath. Though ten years apart, they defied every skeptic who doubted their young marriage, building a 56-year partnership that is sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

Bob was the silent engine of his family. He lived without personal hobbies because he gave everything he had to his children’s dreams. A man of legendary discipline, he never missed a day of work, saving his sick days to "cash out" for spectacular family Christmases or the summer trips that bonded his family together. His belief in his children, Michelle and Rob, was absolute; he provided the scaffolding for their success and never once voiced a doubt that they could be whatever they wanted to be.

Though he despised the spotlight, Bob had a rare gift for making everyone feel comfortable. He expressed his affection through dry wit and a love for teasing; to be the target of his jokes was to know you were truly loved.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah; his children, Michelle Burrows and Robert Wilkinson (Liz); and his grandchildren: Alyssa (Colton), Carter, Parker, Cooper, and Henry.
