Eunice Juliette Henderson was born to Gastion Mallory and Nevolia Taliferro. Eunice lived in Smithfield, VA until she relocated to Las Vegas in the 1960s with her sister (Edna). Eunice was a mother of three children and worked diligently in the home. As a loving mother Eunice sought to provide for her family, she attended night school to earn a certificate as a cashier and worked outside the home for a time. She was an excellent cook and provided some of the best meals anyone could enjoy. She was a devoted friend and a God-fearing woman that enjoyed attending and volunteering at church. Eunice also enjoyed a good beat and found fun dancing. She always seemed happiest when she cut a rug on the dance floor. Eunice had an amazing gift with decorating a home. She surpassed the talents of professional interior decorators during her time and many sought her advice when faced with empty walls. She could take the ugliest situation and transform it into a masterpiece. After raising her children, Eunice had the privilege of being a grandmother to five (Christopher, Ivorie, Ashley, Janessa, and Nicholas). Her grands lovingly referred to her as "Nana."
Eunice will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother (Nevolia), Father (Gaston.). She is survived by her eldest daughter (Stephanie), son: (Clyde Jr. and Cheri), grandsons: (Christopher and Nicholas), and granddaughters: (Ivorie, Ashley, and Janessa). Plus a host of loving family and friends. Eunice's memory will live on by her family, friends, and loved ones who celebrate her and the fantastic woman that she was. Per her wishes, Eunice will be buried at Bunkers Eden Vale Mausoleum. The homegoing service will be held at Bunkers Mortuary (925 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101) on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 1pm.
