Felicia Miranda was born on December 23, 1963, in Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District, Belize, to her proud parents, the late Pascual Stephen Miranda and Agnes Olalia Miranda. She was truly an early Christmas gift, filling their home with joy from the very beginning.

Felicia spent her early childhood in Belize, where she happily attended Holy Ghost School. At the age of 12, she migrated with her family to Los Angeles, California. There, she continued her education at Foshay Middle School and later graduated from Manual Arts High School. Always eager to learn, she went on to Los Angeles Trade Tech, where she completed many vocational courses.

Felicia was known for her outgoing, jovial spirit and her deep love for family. In December of 1981, she welcomed her first child, Durrell Dean Lambert, who sadly preceded her in death. Felicia cherished her role as a mother, pouring all of her love and nurturing spirit into raising her children. She later welcomed her sons Robert Dwayne Mitchell Jr. and Ebarie Pascual Hill, who quickly became the center of her world.

As a mother, Felicia provided not just care but also life lessons. She gave her boys experiences in different states, teaching them resilience and adventure. She loved riding the bus and exploring new places, always ready to seek out the next journey. Her joy extended beyond her own children—Felicia embraced all children with open arms, warm hugs, kisses, and playful cheek squeezes.

Felicia also had many passions: she enjoyed doing hair, cooking, and caring for others. Her love of cats was lifelong, and she will also be deeply missed by her two beloved cats, Peaches and Pretty Kitty.

Felicia’s devotion to family was unwavering. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She is survived by her mother, Agnes Miranda; her sons Robert and Ebarie; and her grandson Damarion Lambert. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Sandra (Keith), Barbara (Maurice), Lorraine (Tylon), Hector, and her baby brother Ricky (Irisi), along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Felicia will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her generous heart, and the way she embraced life with joy. She was loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.

Having a sister like you is having a life long best friend. Despite our distance and connecting with each other a little late in our lives our relationship is one I cherish. Even though at times she would call at the wrong time it lifts up my spirit to know that she cared. I will miss the telephone calls that always ended with I love you sis.

You will never be forgotten and sadly missed. Sleep on peacefully sis, this is not goodbye until we meet again. Love Sandra

To My Sister-in-Law, Felicia

Felicia, you were never just my sister-in-law—

you were truly my sister at heart.

You carried joy wherever you went,

turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Your laughter was a gift,

your love a reminder that family is more than blood—

it is kindness, care, and the way you always showed up.

You taught me that strength doesn’t always roar,

Sometimes it whispers through compassion and sacrifice.

Even though your time here feels far too short,

your presence remains in every story we share,

in the love you poured into your children,

and in the light you left within our family.

Felicia, I will forever hold you close in spirit.

You are gone from our sight,

but never from our hearts.

With love always,

Irisi

Tribute from Your Baby Brother Ricky

Felicia, words cannot truly describe how I feel about your absence. This one hits deep and hurts in a way I can’t even explain. I’m left to be strong because that’s what our family needs right now—especially Robert and Ebarie.

I will always cherish the laughs we shared, the way you always called me baby brother, and how you’d reassure me by saying, “Don’t worry about anything—as long as I got it, you got it.” That’s who you were—loving, dependable, and always giving of yourself.

It feels like you left us too soon, but I take comfort in knowing you are at peace. Sleep peacefully, sis. You will forever remain in my heart.

—With love always,

Your Baby Brother Ricky

A Tribute to Felicia

Felicia, you lived your life searching for tomorrow,

dreaming in colors brighter than today.

Even when it seemed you were in another world,

your spirit remained here—shining, guiding, and loving.

You reminded us that we have but one life to live,

a gift not to be wasted,

a journey not to be rushed.

With all our children, all our families, all our love—

you showed us what it means to keep going.

Though we are no longer young,

and the nights may sometimes feel restless,

God speaks softly into the silence:

This is not the end.

I am your guiding light.

You are part of the next generation of love,

a torch that will never burn out,

a legacy written in faith,

and a melody carried in the hearts of those who knew you.

Felicia, we honor you.

We remember you.

And we carry your light forward—

always.

From Lorraine

Felicia, you lived your life always searching for tomorrow, as if you were in another world.

I reminded you that we only have one life to live, and though with all my children we are not young but restless, you always carried hope.

Even when it felt like you were standing at the edge in the darkest night, God whispered differently—

He showed you His guiding light.

You are, and always will be, a part of the next generation, carrying love and strength forward.
