Fidella Bawden, 90, of Las Vegas, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father March 27, 2013. Fidella was born in Burley, Idaho. Her family moved to Murray, Utah in 1937. That move lead to the destined meeting of her soul mate, Ardy Bawden, with whom she shared 64 years within a devoted marriage. Fidella's smile and her beautiful eyes would always light up a room. Fidella was a life-long homemaker. Her time was most enjoyably spent with her family and friends. Fidella was preceded in death by her husband in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Wanda, Carma, Jeannine, Cliff, Floyd and Buddy. She is survived by her daughter, Ardella Bawden Tjaden of Las Vegas; her son, Les Bawden of Las Vegas; daughter, Linda Bawden Black of Grover Beach, Calif.; sibling, Randy Sorenson of Salt Lake City; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Fidella is treasured by all and "until we can see you again," we will miss you very dearly. Viewing will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 5, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 6, at the LDS Chapel at 1707 S. Sloan Lane, Las Vegas.
