Florence E. Bauer "Momma Flo" passed away Oct. 17, 2015, with her family beside her. She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Weatherford, Texas, to Floyd and Esther Hall. Momma Flo had an exciting career in communications sending press for Western Union for 15 years before becoming a homebuilder, where she was a part of building several custom homes in the greater Las Vegas area. She was also a caregiver and teacher to her entire family. She enjoyed running marathons, camping, fishing, boating, water and snow skiing and travel. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer John Bauer. She is survived by her children, Connie, and her husband, Lee, and Johnny and his wife, Diane; grandchildren, Rhonda Jo, Kelly, Shawn, Eric, Doug, Mandy, Pat and Davy; great-grandchildren, Johnny, Sammy, Shiane, Taylor, Zach, Nick, Niki, Aliesha, Alexandria, Patrick and Patrick; great-greatgrandchildren, Nolan, Wyatt, and Caleb; and sibilings, John, and his wife, Glenda Hall, and Edith Derese. Special thanks go to Diane Bauer, her daughter-in-law, for the selfless love and care she provided to Momma Flo. Viewing will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, with memorial service following, officiated by Minister John Lasater Jr., both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd N., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Momma Flo will be laid to rest beside her beloved daughter, Rhonda Sue. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
