Florine Evadne Bodden

Florine Evadney Bodden, the daughter of Miriam Valpy of Stann Creek and Mark Faux of Placentia passed away on June 02, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Florine (90yrs) was born January 25, 1932, in Stann Creek, Belize. She is the fourth of 12 sibilings: Horace Faux, Kenneth Leslie, Winifred Burns, Zelda Popper, Grace Faux, Dorothy Faux, Beulah Faux, Paul Faux, Steve Faux, Winston Faux and William Faux.

Florine grew up in Stann Creek Valley where she met her husband Arthur Bodden and went on to have eleven children.
She was known to many as Ma Flo or Gran. Florine was God-fearing, caring and most humble. Her greatest joy and accomplishments were her children and grand children. She also loved cooking and the great outdoors which she thoroughly enjoyed in Belize, California and lived for 25 years in Alaska. Most recently she settled in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Bodden Sr., her two children Collin and Velda, her sibilings Horace Faux, Kenneth Leslie, Winifred Burns, Zelda Popper, William Faux, Beulah Faux and Winston Faux.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 daughters and 3 sons. Linda Garbutt, Geraldine Bodden, Carol Davis, Patricia Torres, Barbara Bodden, Brenda Bodden, Morine Wellington, (Velda Allen deceased), Frank Bodden, Arthur Bodden Jr., and Dennis Bodden.
She also leaves behind a host of 23 grand kids and 27 great grand children who have all been a constant source of blessing in her life.
