FRANCES SMITH Frances Irene "Frankie" Smith, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away at home, Sept. 16, 2014, surrounded by family. Frankie was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Harold and Elsie Wallace. Frankie was preceded in her death by her beloved husband, Bill Arden Smith; her grandson, Bradley Alan Smith; and sister, Margaret Thomas. She is survived by her son, Alan and his wife, Mary; two grandchildren, Bill Arden Smith II and Brianna Alane Smith; two brothers, Larry Wallace of Las Vegas, and Jim Wallace of North Carolina. Frankie was a past president and member of the Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the University Medical Center Women's Auxillary. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. (Washington and Las Vegas Blvd. N.). Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain, 4295 N. Rancho. Burial following at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
