Frank Ramirez

Frank Ramirez "Junior", 74, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2016, surrounded by love. Born Aug. 16, 1941, in Lovell, Wyo., he came from humble beginnings and valued hard work and family. He was a part of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 12 for over 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tranquilino and Severa Ramirez. He is survived by his wife, of over 58 years, Nellie; his five children, Henry (Sally), Rosalie, Frank Jr., Anthony (Renee) and Jenny; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jenny Lopez and Mary Salaz; two brothers, Tony and Richard Ramirez; and countless friends and loved ones. Visitation will be from 9:30-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Mass following at 1:30 p.m. at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1111 N. Michael Way, Las Vegas, NV 89108. His heart of gold and strength will be forever missed and admired by all those who loved him.
